Well, it's now official with the summer kick off of our brand-new Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Trail, which offers visitors a fun way to explore more than 30 courses on the Grand Strand. This FREE digital pass is a great way to find the best courses in the area and earn fun prizes as you play — including a trip back to The Beach. Not sure where to start? Maybe check out the brand-new PopStroke, a Tiger Woods-backed mini golf experience that just opened at Broadway at the Beach.
Cool off with a Watersports Adventure
The season is here, the water is warm and it's officially time to begin enjoying ALL that The Beach has to offer. June is the perfect time to cool off with a great watersports experience here in Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Waves water park is now open for the season and has a brand-new slide for visitors this season. Shark Wake Park is open daily offering both wakeboarding and the family fun Aqua Park — a huge inflatable playground atop the water. Additional options include thrilling fun like parasailing, banana boats, jet skis, as well as more calm pursuits like dolphin tours, kayaking, and paddle boarding. There's really no end to the fun you can have on the water here.
Try a New Restaurant
It's no secret there are a ton of great places to eat in Myrtle Beach — in fact, we've got more than 2,000 restaurants across the Grand Strand. But with that many, how do you choose? Of course you can opt for an iconic old favorite, but why not get adventurous this June and try something new. There are a ton of new restaurants that have opened this offseason that we think you'll enjoy. There's several new spots in downtown Myrtle Beach including Swig & Swine BBQ joint, Whiskey Roots and the Tasting Room on 9th Wine Bar to name just a few. On the south end you can find Neal's Creekhouse in Murrells Inlet, Neptune's Bistro & Raw Bar and Voodoo Brewing Company or opt for spots like Lava Korean Steakhouse, Cuba Bar & Grill or Big Chill Island House (shown above) on the north side of town. And honestly, this is just the start. There's a ton more new places to enjoy.
Catch a Myrtle Beach Pelicans Game
Let’s cheer on our home team as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans play throughout the month. June is a beautiful time of year to go out to the ballgame! They’ll be playing the Charleston Riverdogs on June 1-2, then the Columbia Firefiles from June 11-16; and finally, the Fayetteville Woodpeckers June 25-30 . Each night has its own great theme including Weiner Wednesdays; Thirsty Thursday, and Friday night fireworks! Be sure to stick around after the game for kids run the bases!
Show Your Dad a Good Time
Father's Day is just around the corner, so it's the perfect time to treat dad to an awesome day at The Beach. There's tons of great options for dads including a round of golf at one of more than 80 golf courses, a trip around the Myrtle Beach Beer Trail for some craft brews or an exciting dinner show filled with pirates or medieval combat. Or perhaps, you can just leave him to relax on the beach for the day — whatever dad desires.
