Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium is located in the heart of the City of Myrtle Beach. Just 2 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. The stadium is home to the Spring Break Meets, as series of Collegiate and High School Invitationals that attract thousands of athletes, for training and competition, each March and April. The NCAA/IAAF certified 8 lane track features a Beynon surface. Spectator amenities include seating for 5000, video board and Javelin, Shot Put, Hammer and Discus competition areas within easy walking distance from the track.
