Luxury Resorts in Myrtle Beach

Luxury Resorts in Myrtle Beach

You deserve to be pampered on the luxe level! Which is why I scoured the Strand’s hundreds of resorts for some of the most luxurious resorts in Myrtle Beach that kick things up a notch. Here’s a first-class list of what I'd recommend!

Homewood Suites Oceanfront (formerly South Bay Inn & Suites)

520 North Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach

This newer oceanfront resort made a splash on the scene in 2018, featuring brand-new accommodations that wow, an indoor waterpark, valet parking, room service, Starbucks coffee, onsite dining, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and more. The resort has also recently been affiliated with Hilton Hotels as Homewood Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront.

North Beach Resort & Villas

100 North Beach Blvd., North Myrtle Beach

North Beach takes up an impressive 7.5 acres on the north end of Myrtle Beach, from an island along the coast to Highway 17. There are the majestic pair of towers of condos (up to five bedrooms) connected by the 5,000-plus-square-foot, seven-bedroom penthouse Bridge and then there is the village of villas and two-story beach cottages available to rent for bigger groups. Either way, you have access to the property’s many amenities, including the Caribbean-themed pools, the onsite Cinzia Spa, and fine dining 21 Main Prime Steakhouse.

Marina Inn at Grande Dunes

8121 Amalfi Place, Myrtle Beach

This luxury resort along the Intracoastal Waterway is a beauty, known for hosting lavish events and weddings, and featuring up to four-bedroom suites. Overlooking a working marina, the inn also has the award-winning WaterScapes Restaurant onsite, two swim-in-place indoor lap pools, and access to the Grande Dunes clay tennis courts and resort golf course. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Anchor Café are also a short-distance walk away.

Island Vista Resort

6000 North Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach

This oceanfront resort truly lives up to its name, with gorgeous vistas at every turn on a peaceful section of Myrtle Beach. The one- through four-bedroom suites will not disappoint your luxury tastes. Add to that the resort’s upgraded amenities, including the well-known Cypress Room restaurant showcasing ocean views, cocktail bar, a layout of indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and lazy river – all within the property’s tropical lush landscaping.

Sandy Beach Resort

201 South Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach

Sandy Beach is stunning and modern, located beachfront near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Featuring up to three-bedroom suites, including a three-bedroom oceanfront penthouse, the resort also offers multiple heated outdoor pools and hot tubs, and a lazy river to relax and unwind.

Kingston Resorts

9800 Queensway Blvd., Myrtle Beach

The four resorts that make up Kingston Resorts have quite the representation of going all out to impress – and they just completed a $65 million renovation, so now the experience is even more over-the-top. The pristine grounds host some of the finest rooms and suites (now fully updated) on the Grand Strand. The Landing boasts 78Fitness, complete with workout equipment and golf simulators, Spa33, and more activities. And the renowned amenities list continues, with five dining destinations, including the new Black Drum Brewery, water features, including the new Currents Seaside Entertainment pool decks, pool and two waterparks on top of the nine pools, cabanas and lounge decks already in place, and tennis, pickleball, and volleyball courts.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean 22 Myrtle Beach

2200 N. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach

The 24-story oceanfront resort that is Hilton Grand features one- through three-bedroom suites complete with cutting-edge design, full kitchens, and private balconies. Amenities include glorious indoor and outdoor pools, lobby and poolside bars, walk-on beach access, and a kids’ activity center.

Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes

8400 Costa Verde Drive, Myrtle Beach

This longtime landmark of luxury on the north end of the beach is a AAA-rated Four Diamond resort that offers private beach access, a huge beachfront outdoor pool oasis, spacious designer accommodations, onsite restaurants and bars, 45,000 square feet of venue space for weddings and more, and the onsite Hibiscus Spa that provides a full menu of wellness services.

Marriott’s OceanWatch Villas at Grande Dunes

8550 Costa Verde Drive, Myrtle Beach

Located on a secluded section of Myrtle Beach, OceanWatch offers exclusive extras in their two-bedroom oceanfront villas finished in chic furnishing and overlooks the ocean or the resort’s beautiful gardens. Relax by one of the pools, take a swing at their putting green, enjoy volleyball, shuffleboard, or table tennis, and dine and drink at any of the resort’s restaurants or pool bars.
