Make Your List and Check It Twice!

Myrtle Beach is the place to cross off all the items on your holiday wish list. From outlets to boutiques, you are sure to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list. Across the 60 miles of the Grand Strand, many of the shopping malls and outlets are a close drive to the resorts, vacation rentals, and other accommodations - just in case you forgot a gift for someone on your list! It's been rumored that Santa's elves stock the shelves with exactly what you are looking for. Here is a round up of some of the most popular shopping in the Grand Strand:

Barefoot Landing

Set along the Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach, Barefoot Landing is one of the most unique & popular shopping, dining & entertainment destinations you will ever experience. There are plenty of excellent restaurants at Barefoot Landing, as well as a brewery and merry-go-round. Barefoot Landing has over 50 shops where you'll go to find high-end brands and local gifts. There is even a Christmas store with every ornament, ribbon and Christmas tree you can imagine.

Broadway at the Beach

A 350-acre outdoor shopping center and entertainment complex in Myrtle Beach that is great for the whole family! A trip to Myrtle Beach isn't complete without a visit to Broadway at the Beach, especially during the holidays to see the magnificent 46-foot-tall Christmas tree in the center of the complex. While shopping, you will also be able to enjoy holiday entertainment including live music, street dancers, a tree lighting ceremony and more.

The Market Common

Myrtle Beach’s “uptown downtown.” Up-scale and trendy, The Market Common offers boutique shops along with popular national chain stores. Among the flower-lined streets and twinkling lights, there’s also plenty of quality dining and entertainment, including a movie theater and bowling alley. The Market Common features affordable boutiques along with local craft shops, so you can find the perfect gift for everyone on your list.

Gay Dolphin Gift Shop

The Gay Dolphin has been an anchor on Ocean Boulevard since 1946! It’s the Grand Strand’s largest gift shop, and with thousands and thousands of items to choose from, you’ll find a perfect gift for everyone! If you are looking for a unique keepsake from your holiday at The Beach, then look no further than the 70,000 options at the Gay Dolphin. Each area of the store is organized into "coves" which group the items together, making it easier to navigate through the multi-level stores.

Tanger Outlet Centers

For the brands you love at prices you’ll love even more! Find all your favorite designer brands in two convenient Tanger Outlet locations:  off of Kings Road in Myrtle Beach and off Highway 501 in Carolina Forest in Myrtle Beach. The outlets are the perfect place to find all the items you are looking for if you have a long list of family and friends.

The Hammock Shops Village

The Hammock Shops Village located in Pawleys Island is home to many quaint southern stores, most notably the Original Pawleys Island Hammock Shop which sells the famous handmade Pawleys Island hammocks. There are also two restaurants as well as several local boutiques that are the perfect spots to find gifts.

Coastal Grand Mall

For a traditional mall experience, head on over to Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach which offers anchor stores such as Dick's Sporting Goods and Belk, as well as over 100 well-known brand stores. You can't go wrong with the all-American food court for when you need a mid-shopping snack, photos with Santa, and extended holiday hours for any last minute gifts.
