Apache Pier was built in 1994 and is also part of a very popular family campground complex --- the Apache Campground. The pier itself has the longest wooden fishing pier on the entire east coast at 1,206 feet! Enjoy a stroll on the deck. Get outfitted from the full-service bait and tackle shop and fish all day long!
From Memorial Day through Labor Day revel in the live music from center stage under the big yellow pagoda located halfway down the pier. Apache Pier is open 365 days a year.
Hungry? Get great food like seafood, burgers and salads from Croakers, the Pier's restaurant. Croakers also has a snack bar that serves hot dogs and beer.
Kids will love the arcade with the latest video games, NASCAR racing games, skee ball and air hockey!
Apache Campground has 937 sites for RV camping right on the Atlantic Ocean, and has amenities like swimming pool complex, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, laundry and playground. Pets are welcome. The Apache Trading Post has grocery items of convenience and an ice cream parlor.
The Apache Pier is located near shopping and attractions like Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlets, the Carolina Opry, and Pirate's Voyage Dinner Show. There are also many great pubs and restaurants nearby.
You can access the pier through the Apache Campground entrance located at the corner of Kings Rd. and Lake Arrowhead Rd. Stop at the front gate and tell the attendant you'd like to go on the pier. They will direct you toward the parking area.
