This season will also be a special one for the club as they celebrate its 25th Anniversary with a variety of promotions and celebrations throughout the year.

About the Club

The Pelicans are a part of the Carolina League's South Division, they will face opponents which includes the Charleston RiverDogs (Tampa Bay Rays), Columbia Fireflies (Kansas City Royals), and Augusta GreenJackets. An evening or afternoon at the ballpark sounds like a homerun to us! Check out their full schedule here.

The 2024 season marks the 25th year of Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball, and the tenth year as an affiliate to the Chicago Cubs.

The Pelicans' Stadium was ranked as the top ballpark in the Carolina League by Baseball America in 2009 and has  consistently delivered great in-stadium experiences since the club was founded in 1999.

With the 25th season comes a new logo, the design includes elements from the club’s primary logo while also adding new elements to signify the milestone. These new elements include:

  • Four stars – one for each league championship
  • The use of a diamond as the containing shape
  • Incorporating a silver tone, which is a link to the traditional material used when celebrating a 25th anniversary

The Pelicans most recently won a Carolina League championship in 2016 but had won 3 championships prior.
