What’s New for Meeting in Myrtle!

PopStroke, 1187 Celebrity Circle

The newly opened PopStroke in Broadway at the Beach is an ace golf experience for groups. Partnered with Tiger Woods and TaylorMade, the tech-savvy golf venue features two 18-hole mini golf courses that resemble full-length courses (fairways, little ponds, and unique holes), an open-air dining space, an outdoor beer garden serving craft beers and cocktails, an outdoor playground, oversized flat screens throughout, and a private event space that overlooks both courses for special events, like kids’ birthday parties and corporate gatherings. On top of that, PopStroke has an ice cream parlor onsite scooping up 24 flavors and milkshakes, plus outdoor games, like ping-Pong, foosball, and corn hole. Golfers of all skill levels to keep track of their scores from their smartphones and their jumbotron leaderboard, as well as order drinks and food for delivery, through their PopStroke app.

New to the Grand Strand in North Myrtle Beach, Greg Rowles Legacy Theater can offer a different show experience each time you come. They pride themselves on offering diverse and captivating performances from a stellar cast where no two shows are the same. Conveniently located on Main Street in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, they offer group packages for a party of 15 or more. 


Myrtle Waves Water Park, 3000 Mr. Joe White Ave., Myrtle Beach

Summertime group gatherings call for cooling off at Myrtle Waves Water Park, where they offer special rates for groups of 15 or more for family reunions, church/youth groups, school groups, sports teams, corporate groups, and more. The family-favorite, nationally ranked waterpark features pools, splash pads, shaded cabanas, slides and rides for all ages. The newest slide debuting in the summer of 2024 is Wild Water Races, a mat slide that allows four people to race each other to the bottom.

Tiki Tours of Myrtle Beach, 5843 Dick Pond Road, Myrtle Beach

Take a Tiki Tour of the Intracoastal Waterway with your crew on their 18-seat party boat. Your relaxing boat ride includes a captain, plenty of cooler space for your drinks of choice (hard liquor is prohibited), a Bluetooth speaker system, and USB charging ports. Everyone in your group will get a spot at the long table running up the middle of the boat, and can stand under the tiki hut for some shade. Tiki Tours has a two-hour minimum ride; prices vary.

Brookgreen Gardens, 1931 Brookgreen Garden Drive, Murrells Inlet

This nationally awarded botanical and sculpture garden is a must-see for your group to explore. Groups of 20 or more are treated to a special rate to the sculpture gardens, the Lowcountry History and Wildlife Preserve, and the Lowcountry Zoo. Book a seasonal creek excursion boat ride, a private guided group tour that strolls the gardens and the history rooted here, and more. Brookgreen Gardens has recently celebrated their 90th anniversary. This year, they have officially broken ground on their 20 million dollar expansion project which includes a new visitors center, a new contemporary conservatory, new art facilities, expanded Lowcountry history exhibits and a new exhibit in the Lowcountry Zoo.

If your group is ready to celebrate after 8, book one of three spaces under one roof for your special event: Club Rewind (’70s, ’80s, and ’90s dance music), Bourbon Cowboy (country, rock, and honky tonk music), or Envy Nightlife (the hottest dance and top-40 house music). Each room can accommodate 100-plus guests and includes high-quality sound systems, stages, dance floors, DJ services or live entertainment, bartenders, catering, even dance lessons or officiants for weddings.


Aviation & Transportation

Myrtle Beach International Terminal Expansion

As air travel to Myrtle Beach continues to boom, Myrtle Beach International is keeping up with a huge terminal expansion project, which is expected to be completed by 2025. Airport construction includes a 45,000-square-foot terminal with six more aircraft gates in concourse A, with more hold rooms, concessions, renovated bathrooms, and new flooring, 400 new parking spaces in the long-term parking lot and canopies over rental car parking.

In addition to this growth, Breeze Airways has added flights, as well as Spirit Airlines.
