Make a Splash in These 6 Indoor Pools

While the winter in Myrtle Beach may be just a little too cold for swimming outside, hotels across the Grand Strand offer indoor pools and waterparks that provide plenty of fun for the kiddos. From relaxing whirlpools to family-friendly waterparks, we brought the water fun indoors, so you don’t need to compromise while visiting The Beach during the winter!

Grande Cayman Resort

This indoor pool deck features a large glass window facing the ocean that can be removed during the summer but provides a warm environment during the winter months! Inside the resort, there is a kiddie pool and lazy river, along with a sprawling pool deck. The Grande Cayman is newly renovated and located in the quieter section of Ocean Boulevard.

Island Vista

Known for their family-friendly units and amazing restaurant, The Cypress Room, Island Vista also features a spacious indoor pool and hot tubs all with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Have the kids splash around all day, or warm up in the hot tubs after a brisk golf game. There’s even a spa located on the property- the cherry on top!

Landmark Resort

This resort takes indoor water amenities to a whole new level with an indoor pool, kiddie section with mushroom foundations, lazy rivers for kids and adults, and whirlpools. The indoor pool features a vaulted ceiling and a showstopping dolphin fountain. The indoor lazy river is 300 feet long and weaves around the pool deck. The Landmark Resort offers a variety of suite options all in a stellar location on the southern end of Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.

Avista Resort

The Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach offers an indoor pool, hot tub, and lazy river all with a view of the ocean and palm trees outside that are truly tranquil. The lazy river is only 3 feet deep, making it perfect for kids of all ages to enjoy. Other amenities include a lounge and restaurant complete with cocktails and a simple bar menu, panoramic views of the beach, and pool tables and music – the perfect place to relax after a fun day at the pool.

Hotel Blue

Hotel Blue offers not one, but two indoor water features – a lazy river and a whirlpool. Grab an inner tube and float down the lazy river all indoors and heated. Or relax in the whirlpool, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. Whether you are just trying to de-stress from work or recover from a walk on the beach, this whirlpool might be your new favorite spot at The Beach this winter.

The Breakers Resort

This well-known resort in the heart of Myrtle Beach does not disappoint! The Breakers offers a large indoor pool for year-round swimming and amazing indoor waterpark, The Cove, featuring five water slides. Slide and twist down the Torpedo Shoot or the Twisted Typhoon for hours, and then go float down the indoor lazy river.  The Breakers has numerous different types of suites and studio accommodations that fit any of your needs and is close to all of your favorite Myrtle Beach attractions.

And of course, you can find even more information on where to stay along the Grand Strand and other hotels and camping sites that offer indoor pools on our STAY page.
