Hot Summer Nights at The Boardwalk are Back!
Get ready for nightly entertainment for the whole family!
Hot Summer Nights is back at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk for the 2026 season, bringing a full lineup of free, easygoing entertainment to Plyler Park all summer long. It’s the kind of thing you can drop into after dinner or plan your evening around, with something happening every night of the week.
Events run Monday through Saturday from 5–8 PM, with Sundays from 1–4 PM, making it easy to fit into your schedule whether you’re out for the day or just heading down in the evening.
Weekly Schedule at a Glance
Each day has a set theme, so you more or less know what to expect:
- Mondays: DJ Glow Party with music and a more upbeat, dance-style atmosphere
- Tuesdays: Rotating themed entertainment (varies throughout the season)
- Wednesdays: Live music + fireworks
- Thursdays: Karaoke night (“Be a Star”)
- Fridays: Live music
- Saturdays: Tropical beach party with music and themed entertainment
- Sundays (1–4 PM): Live entertainment in a more relaxed, daytime setting
Live Music!
Live music is one of the biggest draws, with free concerts every Wednesday and Friday from 6–8 PM at the Plyler Park stage.
The lineup rotates throughout the summer, but typically includes a mix of:
- Beach music
- Rock and country
- Reggae and R&B
It’s casual and easy—no tickets, no planning—just walk up and listen.
Fireworks on Wednesdays
On Wednesdays, the night doesn’t end when the music does. After the concert, fireworks start around 9 PM over the ocean, visible from anywhere along the Boardwalk.
See for Yourself!
Overall, Hot Summer Nights is designed to be flexible and low-key. You can stop by for a full evening or just catch part of it while walking the Boardwalk. With restaurants, bars, and shops all nearby, it’s an easy add-on to your night rather than something you have to plan around.
So, after a relaxing day at the beach, don’t worry about hearing that familiar: “What are we going to do tonight?” The answer is simple: Visit Plyler Park for the best free, family-friendly entertainment in town. And enjoy the shops, dining and more on the Boardwalk and Ocean Boulevard.
