Fun Things to Do with Teens in Myrtle Beach

Welcome to The Beach! The warm sand under toes, and the amazing views are a lifetime of memories, but the kids are bored and there’s nothing to do?! Not so fast! Myrtle Beach is like no other city on the Atlantic Coast, there are many fun things to do with teenagers.

The Boardwalk and Ocean Boulevard

Ocean Boulevard is home to some pretty unique things to do at the beach. For starters, where can you go that has an amusement park built right next to the beach? The rides at this location include the Slingshot Ride, recently added to the amusement park. This ride acts as a backward bungee jump that catapults riders into the air. It has been a hit with local teens since it opened in 2021. The arcade along Ocean Boulevard has many delights, from shopping for shark teeth to playing some class video games and seaside food, nothing tastes better than Pizza and Pop on the boardwalk.

WonderWorks

WonderWorks is a fun place to go, if you want to step away from the beach front, located just off the beaten path this great adventure starts with an upside-down building. The property encompasses 50,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. This is where your teenagers will be amazed and thrilled by the “one hundred hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark imagination.” WonderWorks is located at the famous Broadway at the Beach a couple of streets back from the beach. The coolest part of this area is the sky wheel which lets you see for miles at the top.

Sky Zone

Sky Zone is another fun filled adventure with all kinds of indoor trampolines and challenges. Located near Broadway at the Beach, this attraction is indoors. The five new attractions will challenge your teen’s ability in agility all while having fun. The Warp Wall and Ninja Course are the two hottest courses at Rockin Jump.

Pavilion Park at Broadway at the Beach

Pavilion Park is great place for the whole family, the amusement park is located on the west, east and central sides of Broadway at the Beach. All day wrist bands, and ticket packages are available here. There are bumper boats and if you like to feed the geese, for a quarter you can get a handful of food. The theme park has been apart of Myrtle Beach for a long time and boasts some of the oldest rides the city has to offer.

Ripley's Aquarium

If your teen is interested in the sea life the best place to go is the Ripley’s Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach. This fun filled aquarium offers a new attraction called the Glass Bottom Boat Adventure. There is about three inches between the glass bottom of the boat and the creatures of dangerous reef. The trip in the boat is an additional cost to the aquarium ticket, but worth the adventure. This unique view allows guests to view the reef from a different angle. In the Ripley’s family of attractions, Myrtle Beach has Ripley’s Believe it or not! On Ocean Boulevard. The unique museum has everything from shrunken heads to the 5D theater where adventures come alive.
