Make It A Teen Adventure Day
Since the 1950s, the Myrtle Beach area has been a popular destination for southern teenagers due to its fantastic beaches, affordability, and convenience of fun-filled attractions to lodging. For many decades since then, our legend has grown to embrace families with teenagers from all over the world. There is no greater place in the southern tropics for convenience and affordability for teenage joy and entertainment.
Any teen will love our 60 miles of soft, white pristine sandy beachfront. From North Myrtle Beach to Pawleys Island the beach is an easy place to make new friends and expand horizons on vacation. Your teen will enjoy all the things that come with the beach-day fun like getting a tan, playing games, swimming, surfing, and jet skiing with their peers. Rent a jet ski from Downwind Sails Watersports or the Jet Ski Express and jump some waves!
For a fresh, cool water experience, teenagers also love going to one of our great water parks like Myrtle Waves. There is no better way to cool off than at one of our exciting water parks with 100-foot speed slides, 400-foot lazy rivers, waterfalls, and wave pools.
Parents can save money by booking an all-inclusive oceanfront resort with beachfront access, pool complex, in-house restaurants, recreation rooms, arcades, and more! Teens will love the endless things to do at these complexes where you can keep an eye on them and most of our resorts are located near major attractions designed for families seeking the perfect vacation experience.
Broadway at the Beach has never-ending shopping and is centrally located in the Myrtle Beach area. Shopping for teens is also a blast at Barefoot Landing and the Tanger Outlets.
New attractions for teens have arrived! The Hollywood Wax Museum is here. Teens can see all their favorite stars from movies, television, and music in wax, life-sized figures and have their picture taken right next to them! Test your skills at the Backstage Escape Games or seek your thrills at The Funplex amusement complex or hit the Big Air Trampoline Park which is great for the little kiddos too.
There are literally dozens of themed miniature golf complexes up and down Hwy 17 in our area. Teens will love the camaraderie and friendly competitive skilled challenge of courses like Captain Hook's Adventure Golf.
Your teens may want more mature experiences of life. Take them to a show at the House of Blues to see a band they love or score points with your teen by taking them to see the nightlife and live music down at the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet. If they prefer dinner and show Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show will fit the bill.
