Downtown Tuesdays & Holiday Editions
Downtown Tuesdays (6–8 p.m.) has quickly become the heartbeat of Loris’ midweek fun from October through December. Each Tuesday night, The Yard — a gathering area in the heart of Main Street — turns into a vibrant hub of themed events. Local vendors, games, live music, and food all combine as the whole community gathers to celebrate.
As the holidays approach, Downtown Tuesdays takes on a festive glow. Expect theme's like "Small Town Christmas" with sparkling lights, music, hot cocoa stations, and even a Christmas camel or two. These celebrations feel like walking straight into a Hallmark movie, complete with cider, music, and cozy cheer.
While this year's details are still being finalized, the Loris Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that Downtown Tuesdays will continue through the end of the year. Stay tuned to the Chamber’s website for full details.

More Holiday Happenings
Loris doesn’t limit its celebrations to just one night a week — the whole month of December feels like one long Christmas party. The Loris Christmas Tree Lighting kicks things off in early December with live entertainment, refreshments, a holiday market, and (if you’re lucky) a sprinkle of snow.
The beloved Loris Christmas Parade follows soon after, lighting up Main Street with floats, music, and local groups decked out in their festive best. Scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at 6 p.m., this cheerful evening parade winds through downtown Loris, featuring decorated vehicles, marching bands, local businesses, and plenty of holiday sparkle to delight visitors of all ages.
Families won’t want to miss Breakfast with the Grinch, a whimsical morning of green pancakes, crafts, and plenty of holiday giggles. And to top it all off, local organizers often add new surprises — from the Polar Express Bus Ride to pop-up vendor markets and photo ops downtown.
Whether you’re there for the lights, the laughter, or the laid-back local charm, Loris is proof that the biggest holiday spirit can often be found in the smallest of towns. So grab a cup of cocoa, bring your loved ones, and make downtown Loris part of your holiday tradition this year.
