April is a special month in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as the city comes alive with events and activities that cater to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Autism Acceptance Month, formerly known as Autism Awareness Month, is a time to celebrate the unique talents and abilities of those with autism, while also promoting understanding and acceptance within the community. In Myrtle Beach, this month is marked by a variety of autism-friendly and sensory-friendly events that provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals with ASD and their families.
It's our BIRTHDAY BOWLING BASH!! Enjoy sensory friendly family bowling. Music down, lights up and room to move around. $1.00 per game per person and $1.00 for shoes. Food specials for us: choice of Hot dog, Chicken Nuggets or Grilled Cheese with chips and 12oz Soda for $5.53.
THEN at 12:00pm, we'll sing Happy Birthday (if all can tolerate it) and have cupcakes compliments of Kroger's Carolina Forest. Our families can rest assured their special birthday kids will be celebrating among friends!!

Sensory-Supported Night at Dave & Buster’s with Champion Autism Network We’re thrilled to partner with Dave & Buster's for a sensory-supported event every first Tuesday of the month from 5 PM - 8 PM! Enjoy a welcoming environment with the music turned down and the lights up. The arcade is pretty loud, so we have our own private FUNction Room available for you to sit, relax, take a breather, order food and eat during the event! Choose from two awesome ticket options:
