Broadway at the Beach

1. The Hangout - Come experience fun at The Hangout! It's free to enjoy their outdoor entertainment and boasts fun for the entire family. Every Thursday, there is live music on their lawn from 6pm-10pm. From their sand pit to their bubble machines, The Hangout is the place to be!

2. Character Meet and Greet - Meet some of the most iconic characters you love every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday near The Grumpy Monk from 7-9pm. Fun for kids of all ages!

3. Over the Moon Variety Show - Featuring fire & led dancers, Jugglers and more on the Heroes Harbor stage near Margaritaville. Don't miss this unique opportunity to view great local talent every Sunday and Monday and 8pm and 9pm.

4. Fireworks Extravaganza - every Tuesday and Friday enjoy a gorgeous fireworks display at 10pm (weather permitting)

Barefoot Landing

Live Oak Children’s Playground - The playground in Dockside Village area offers an abundance of shade provided by majestic live oak trees and enjoys a refreshing breeze from the nearby Intracoastal Waterway. It boasts a unique PlayOdyssey® Treehouse Tower, complemented by nature-inspired climbing structures.

Summerfest - Enjoy nightly music and entertainment every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from June through September at Summerfest! Bands and performers put on their best show each night for your entertainment. From country to rock, Americana, pop and more, you can sit back in a complimentary lawn chair or bring your own, grab a bite to eat or a drink and enjoy some toe tapping tunes from 7 pm to 10 pm. Completely free entertainment!

Character Meet and Greet - Visit with various characters as they stroll Barefoot Landing every Tuesday and Saturday from 7 pm to 9 pm during SummerFest. Perfect photo opportunity for the entire family!

Ashlee Carson grew up in Northwest Ohio but has lived in Myrtle Beach since graduating from the University of Central Florida in Spring of 2006 with a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations. She was a former Public Relations intern at the Chamber of Commerce in the Summer of 2005 where her excitement for writing about Myrtle Beach began.
