Where to Grab Coffee in Myrtle Beach

  By  Shelbi Ankiewicz
A note from Shelbi Ankiewicz

I developed a caffeine addition during my time at Coastal Carolina University. Whether good or bad, it has stuck with me ever since. Luckily, because of it, I have tried out nearly all the top coffee shops across the Grand Strand, finding spots with different vibes, roasts, products, brewing techniques, and more.

From places that have stood the test of time to new spots opening up, there are numerous places to visit, either in downtown Myrtle Beach or inland toward Conway, making it easy to access all our favorite spots. With 60 miles of land to cover and and coffee shops spread throughout, here's a list of spots you can try out for your morning (or afternoon) pick-me-up.

1. Fresh Brewed Coffee House - Myrtle Beach

A local's joint that's been around for years, serving the community with "hope, grace, and love." Fresh brewed is a faith-based nonprofit coffee house in downtown Myrtle Beach, just a few blocks away from the ocean. It's location in the city's Arts & Innovation District, offering visitors more than just delicious coffee through open-mic nights, events, and community support. Stop by for a cup of joe before venturing to the nearby shops, or visit during Myrtle Beach's F1rst Friday Art Walks that happen the first Friday of every month.
