About this Event

Join Friends of Lewis Ocean Bay to celebrate Venus flytraps, one of the most wonderful plants in the world! Horry County is the only county in South Carolina where they grow naturally. They represent our local unique wild places.


This multi-day event includes:

  • Thursday, May 7 - Flytrap Social at Bonfire - A Smokin' Taqueria
  • Saturday, May 9 - Flytrap 5K & Conservation Fair
  • Sunday, May 10 - Lewis Ocean Bay Tour
