Did you know that Myrtle Beach has a Minor League Baseball team? The Pelicans, an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, play at TicketReturn.com Field not far from downtown Myrtle Beach, across from Broadway at the Beach! They will host family-friendly baseball games May 4 to September 19 in 2021. Their home opener is scheduled for this Tuesday, May 11 against the Augusta GreenJackets.

TicketReturn.com Field is kept in pristine condition and the stadium offers the classic ballpark foods, favorite dishes with creative twists, craft beer, a picnic area, and a kids’ play area as well as event spaces. Weekly specials include:

  • Tuesday: $2 Tacos and Tallboys: Enjoy $2 tacos and tallboys every Tuesday from June to September. 

  • Wednesday: BOGO Hot Dogs: Delicious Hebrew National hot dogs are buy one, get on free all game long. 

  • Thursday: World Famous Thirsty Thursday, features $1 120z Bud and Bud light cans and $2 glasses of wine. 

  • Friday: Family Friday + Fireworks

  • Saturday: Sippin’ Saturdays, will feature $1 12oz Bud and Bud Light cans, and $2 glasses of wine. 

Pelicans will also play at home over July 3-4 weekend and Labor Day weekend, so buy your tickets now if you are planning on being at The Beach.

As the Pelicans transition into the new Minor League system, they will face opponents from within the South Division which includes the Charleston RiverDogs (Tampa Bay Rays), Columbia Fireflies (Kansas City Royals), and Augusta GreenJackets. Check out their full schedule here.

The 2021 season marks the 23rd year of Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball, and the seventh year as an affiliate to the Chicago Cubs.
