Myrtle Beach Featured on ‘Wheel of Fortune’ May 5-9 During The Beach Week

Viewers Can Watch and Enter the ‘Escape to the Beach’ Giveaway
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.— The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to announce that a national spotlight will shine on the Grand Strand on the beloved gameshow “Wheel of Fortune.” Through a partnership with Visit Myrtle Beach, The Beach Week will air May 5-9, highlighting all that the area has to offer.
Throughout the week, “Wheel of Fortune” will showcase the Myrtle Beach area’s award-winning beaches, championship golf courses, vibrant attractions and dynamic culinary scene. Contestants will have a chance to win dream vacations to the Grand Strand, and viewers at home can get in on the action through the Escape to the Beach giveaway, where five Myrtle Beach vacation packages are up for grabs. No purchase is necessary.
North Myrtle Beach-native Vanna White and co-host Ryan Seacrest visited the Grand Strand in October 2024 to film show segments from various iconic locations, including the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Pine Lakes Country Club. Plus, White hosted local “Wheel Watchers” on a bus tour of the area.

White, who has been turning letters on the popular game show since 1983 and holds a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, will also be back in the Myrtle Beach area during The Beach Week, attending the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic PGA TOUR event at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, including participating in the tournament’s pro-am on May 7.
“Wheel of Fortune” airs locally in the Myrtle Beach and Pee Dee areas at 7 p.m. on WBTW News13, the CBS affiliate.
