2024 Myrtle Beach Invitational Bracket Announced
The bracket for the sixth annual Myrtle Beach Invitational has been released as the 2024 in-season tournament will be played November 21, 22 and 24 at the HTC Center on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C.
The upper half of the bracket has Ohio (Mid-American) playing Middle Tennessee (Conference USA) and South Florida (American) meeting Portland (West Coast) in the afternoon session games on November 21. The evening session features Bradley (Missouri Valley) playing Texas State (Sun Belt) and Princeton (Ivy) facing Wright State (Horizon).
While three of the matchups South Florida-Portland, Bradley-Texas State and Princeton-Wright State will be the first-time the schools will met on the hardwood, Ohio has a 4-0 record with Middle Tennessee. The two teams met last November at the Baha Mar Convention Center in Nassau, Bahamas, with the Bobcats posting an 80-68 win over the Blue Raiders.
The field for the 2024 Myrtle Beach Invitational features three schools that participated in the 2024 National Invitational Tournament - Bradley, Princeton and South Florida. Princeton has been the Ivy’s regular-season winner the past three seasons and advanced to the 2023 NCAA’s “Sweet 16”. South Florida won its first American regular-season title last year.
Owned and operated by ESPN Events, the 2024 Myrtle Beach Invitational is an eight-team, 12-game bracketed tournament. The first-round winners play in the semi-finals on November 22. The title game is set for 5:30 p.m. (ET) on November 24 at the HTC Center.
