"Painters' Palettes" Annual Exhibition & Art Sale

The Pawleys Island Art Gallery will present "Painters' Palettes," the annual exhibition of artwork by members of the Georgetown County Watercolor Society. The exhibition will open on August 1 and continue through August 30, 2025. A reception will be held at the gallery on August 8, from 5-7:00pm. This is the 37th year for the annual event, which will be judged by award winning Charleston artist, Carolyn Epperly. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday. The hours are Tuesday - Friday 10:00am until 5:00 and 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturdays. Exhibition artwork is for sale. The theme of this year's exhibition is "Painters' Palettes," which leaves a wide land for interpretation. The group is expecting to have around 40 entries, as their membership continues to grow. The Society membership includes watercolor, acrylic and gouache media.
