August F1rst Friday Artwalk

The Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance hosts the F1rst Friday Art Walk Friday, August 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., in downtown Myrtle Beach. The event features artists showcasing their storytelling, painting, sculpting, pottery and photography talents. You can enjoy dining specials and artists along Broadway Street, Eighth Avenue North, Main Street, Nance Plaza, Ninth Avenue North and outdoor venues throughout the Arts & Innovation District. A free ArtWalk Shuttle runs throughout the event for those who prefer to ride between participating venues. The free shuttle will make its ArtWalk loop with planned stop locations including:

• Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance Office, 522 Broadway Street
• George Bar, 503 Eighth Avenue North
• 512, Ninth Avenue North
• Fresh Brewed Coffee House, 933 Broadway Street
• William H Miller Studios & Fine Art, 702 Eighth Avenue North
• Swig & Swine, 525 Broadway Street
• Corner parking lot, Third Avenue North and Broadway Street, near Gallery 320
