Honor and Celebrate: Military Appreciation Days in Myrtle Beach
Join Us in Saluting Our Heroes with Parades, Picnics, and More
Myrtle Beach proudly honors the brave men and women who serve our country with a full month of recognition and gratitude during Military Appreciation Days. This city-wide celebration brings together residents, visitors, veterans, and active-duty military members to participate in a series of free, family-friendly events throughout May. Hosted by the City of Myrtle Beach, the Military Appreciation Committee, and the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, this annual tradition is our heartfelt thank-you to those who have served and continue to serve.
A Patriotic Kickoff: JROTC Drill Meet
The festivities begin with the Horry County JROTC Drill Meet at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, held in the Pelicans Ballpark parking lot (1251 21st Avenue North). Come cheer on cadets from seven Horry County schools as they showcase precision, discipline, and teamwork. A Military Family Members Social will immediately follow the meet, offering time for cadets, families, and veterans to connect and celebrate.
