Enjoy Some Time on the Marshwalk

A stroll along the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk – the community’s answer to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk – is perfect for sightseeing and to get in touch with this great fishing village dubbed the seafood capital of South Carolina.
There is live music playing on any number of nights, and a number of great waterfront eateries to choose from.
Stop by Bubba’s Love Shak for a great meal and a cocktail. Oh, and don’t forget to get your picture taken with “Bubba,” Murrells Inlet’s unofficial mayor
You’ll also do well to admire the wildlife living on Goat Island. The aforementioned goats were put on this island to keep the underbrush down. Then, in the summer of 2006, peacocks were added to the mix. There have also been ducks, egrets, herons and pelicans that have called the island home from time to time.
See? What’s not to love about the marshwalk?
