Myrtle Beach Area Welcomes Visitors After Imelda Stays Offshore

Myrtle Beach, S.C. (October 1, 2025) — Visit Myrtle Beach is thankful to report that Myrtle Beach and South Carolina’s Grand Strand remain fully open to visitors as Hurricane Imelda moves out to sea. Accommodations, attractions and restaurants are welcoming guests as usual, all major travel routes into the region are open, Myrtle Beach International Airport flights are running on schedule, and the area’s highly anticipated fall events are moving forward as planned.
