Chapin Memorial Library is a City of Myrtle Beach–operated public library named for philanthropist Simeon B. Chapin. Serving the coastal community since 1939, it offers:
  • Free Wi-Fi, public computers, mobile printing, faxing, scanning, notary services, and exam proctoring
  • A diverse collection: books, e-books, audiobooks, DVDs, magazines, newspapers
  • Online learning tools, genealogy resources, and research databases
  • Meeting/study rooms, inter-library loans, and programs for all ages (storytimes, book clubs, virtual author talks, etc.)

  • Monday & Wednesday: 9:00 am–6:00 pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 am–7:00 pm
  • Friday: 9:00 am–5:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am–3:00 pm
