This year's Winter Wonderland Lights Display features more than 100,000 lights on the beach and the boardwalk. Stretching nearly 1 mile through the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach, this walking tour is a one-of-a-kind experience you have to see to believe. The Winter Wonderland Family Fun Festival will kick off Friday, December 1, with a tree lighting ceremony in Plyler Park. The event will be emceed by WPDE15 weatherman Ed Piotrowski and will be broadcast live on CW. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the lighting at 5:45 p.m.
Join us for Myrtle Beach’s Third Annual Polar Express on Friday, December 1, at The Historic Train Depot, 851 Broadway Street. Children of all ages are welcome to enjoy hot chocolate, popcorn, letters to Santa, Holiday Storytime with Chapin Memorial Library and the outdoor showing of “The Polar Express.” The event begins with sensory friendly time from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. You may wish to bring a chair and blanket to watch the movie. Stay tuned for more!

Santa will be available for photos in Plyler Park during the Family Fun Festival on 12/3. Santa’s workshop area will include an inflatable house, sleigh and more. No photographer will be present. All photos will be taken with your own devices.
