The Landing at The Boathouse

The Boathouse Waterway Bar & Grill has spent nearly 20 years establishing itself as one of The Beach’s premier spots for live music and waterfront fun.

Boasting itself as “Myrtle Beach’s Waterfront Brewery” Independent Republic is a microbrewery and beer garden that sits along the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway and opened in 2019 inside this popular hangout.

Here you’ll find what’s known as “the best Backyard in town” with gorgeous views of the water, easy access via boat and a great outdoor stage which hosts large-scale free concerts every Sunday throughout the summer.

Inside, you’ll find a solid selection of pub fare to eat, another live music stage and plenty more brews on tap, including some great regional selections you won’t find anywhere else at the Beach.
