Guide to the ‘World’s Strongest Man’ Event

  By  Shelbi Ankiewicz
World's Strongest Man competitor lifting 342 lb. barbell

Get ready to watch the heaviest competition of the year: the World’s Strongest Man event. Held for the second time in Myrtle Beach, this event is coming to the Grand Strand from May 1st to the 5th of 2024. It will again take place at the Oceanfront at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place. Men from all around the globe including Australia, Canada, Great Britain, and more are competing to determine who is indeed the strongest of them all. The first two days will consist of qualifiers, while the last two days will be the finals. A few of this year's competitors are returning winners from previous years, so it’s sure to be an event with high competition that you won’t want to miss.

Ticket prices vary in price depending on which day you attend. A single-day pass for Wednesday or Thursday is $55, while a single-day pass for Saturday or Sunday is $95. Additionally, if you want to attend all four days, it will be a total of $300. However, if you still want to partake in the fun without having to pay for a ticket, you can hang out at the Fan Fest. This area has returned free of charge, located next to the competition site offering food and retail vendors, along with a jumbotron so you can watch the event without missing a thing!

To ensure you have an opportunity to watch this competition full of deadlifts, overhead presses, power stairs, and more, we have curated the closest hotels and restaurants to visit during your trip. These locations will make everything quick and accessible to the event being less than a ten-minute drive away.
