The Myrtle Beach Marathon, one of America’s “10 great winter marathons” according to USA Today, will run again on March 2, 2019!  With a Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Team Relay, 5k, and Family Fun Run, there is something for people of every age, ability, and fitness level.

The pancake flat looped course, featuring 9 beautiful beachfront miles, is one of the flattest and fastest in the country. The average race day start temperature is 40°F and 62°F for the high temperature - the ideal condition for optimal Marathon and Half Marathon performance. Whether your aim is to complete your first Half Marathon or qualify for the Boston, the Myrtle Beach Marathon is where you can and achieve your goal.

With sixty miles of beautiful sandy beaches, more than 400 hotels, first-class live entertainment, exciting attractions for everyone, endless shopping, and exquisite dining - the Myrtle Beach Marathon has been the go to ‘race-cation’ for runners everywhere, dating back to before someone coined the word ‘race-cation’.

Myrtle Beach has something for everyone. The Myrtle Beach Marathon has a race for everyone.  We’ve got everything for the perfect long weekend in early March – except you! Click here to sign up for the 20th anniversary of the East Coast’s fastest marathon and half marathon. The only regret you’ll have is if you stay home.
