The Myrtle Beach Marathon will run again for the 27th year on March 2, 2024! You've been training, sweating and gearing up - and the race is almost here. 

The pancake-flat looped course, featuring 9 beautiful beachfront miles, is one of the flattest and fastest in the country. The weather at The Beach is temperate and sunny 215 days a year - the ideal condition for optimal Marathon and Half Marathon performance. The Beach is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and meet your goals at the Myrtle Beach Marathon! 

With sixty miles of beautiful sandy beaches, more than 400 hotels, first-class live entertainment, exciting attractions for everyone, endless shopping, and exquisite dining at over 2,000 restaurants - the Myrtle Beach Marathon has been the go-to ‘race-cation’ for runners everywhere.   • Starting line is on Robert Grissom Parkway, just south of the Monticello Drive intersection
  • Wheelchair & Crankchair Full and Half starts at 6:30 a.m.
  • Marathon & Half Marathon starts at 6:35 a.m.
  • Wheelchair & Crankchair 5k starts at 7:25 a.m.
  • 5K starts at 7:30 a.m.
  • Finish line is at Pelicans Ballpark parking lot

Is there a marathon in Myrtle Beach?

There is both a Marathon and a Mini Marathon in Myrtle Beach each year. The Marathon is typically the beginning on March, and the Mini Marathon is usually in October. Check out our events calendar for exact dates!
