Myrtle Beach, S.C. (Oct. 1, 2024) —In October, South Carolina’s Grand Strand becomes especially enchanting as it transforms into a Halloween haven where frightfully fun celebrations abound. From family-friendly trick-or-treating to spine-chilling haunted adventures, the Myrtle Beach area offers a cauldron of festive activities and events throughout the month, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

“There’s something magical about fall along the Grand Strand, and my family and I always look forward to the energy and excitement that the month of October brings,” said Denielle VanDyke, Public Relations Manager, Visit Myrtle Beach. “This time of year, The Beach is brimming with entertainment options, from pumpkin patches and fall festivals to costume contests and Halloween haunts. With countless ways to enjoy the season, families and friends can create lasting memories no matter their age or interests.”

All month long, the historic town of Conway officially declares itself the City of Halloween, S.C., fully embracing its spooky spirit with nearly every corner of the charming riverfront district adorned in mischievous décor.
