The Myrtle Beach area is a wonderful place to shop with Tanger Outlet Center having 75-100 specialty shops for clothes, shoes, and unique items. Mix in a stopover at Broadway at the Beach at Ripley's Aquarium and be amazed by all the giant fish under glass. See sharks, stingrays, and grouper up close.

At Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach is Alligator Adventure where you can see gators as well as wolves, exotic snakes, kangaroos, and crocodiles. At the exciting Preservation Station, your family will enjoy the awesome sights of chimps, orangutans, tigers, and even elephants. They also have a second location so make reservations for the Myrtle Beach Safari experience on fifty acres with over sixty big cats as well as a Liger (both lion and tiger) that weighs over 700 pounds!

There is the Low Country zoo at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet. Our State Parks, both Myrtle Beach and Huntington State Park, have ranger tours of the local wildlife in their natural South Carolina settings.
