A1A will conclude The Market Common’s annual Concerts on The Green series to be held each third Thursday this summer on August 16th, from 7 – 10 PM, in Valor Park. When attending an A1A performance you can expect to hear all of your Jimmy Buffett favorites. You will also be treated to some classic Reggae as well as some original A1A Trop Rock music. A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show was born in 1991 when Lead Vocalist and Guitarist, Jeff Pike asked Atlanta Parrot Head Club Founder, Scott Nickerson to join him in his already successful one-man tribute to Jimmy Buffett. In 1992, the band won a Jimmy Buffett Sound Alike Contest for Margaritaville Records and the A1A ball started rolling – a ball that is still rolling 25 years later. Beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. Come early for a little shopping, then dinner at one of ten fabulous restaurants and top off the evening with a complimentary concert in Valor Park. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, the kids and even the fur babies. No coolers or outside drinks are allowed. See you there!
