Due to flooding and road closures surrounding the Myrtle Beach area, driving into the area will be very difficult for the next week or two. Fly, don’t drive. If you must drive into the area, expect heavy congestion, delays and changing detours. Check www.SCDOT.org, 511sc.org or call 511 for latest road conditions.
One of two Jack Nicklaus designs in the Myrtle Beach golf market, Long Bay Golf Club does the 18-time major champion proud.
Fittingly, for a course bearing the Nicklaus name, Long Bay tests a player’s willingness to compete. The course, which earned 4.5 stars in “Golf Digest’s” prestigious “Best Places to Play” guide, is challenging throughout but it’s a wonderful design.
Golf Digest has awarded this golf course 4.5 stars in their prestigious "Places to Play" course rankings. This course has continually been in "The Myrtle Beach Golf Insider" top 25 with a current ranking of #24.
