Experience life on the one horse family farm in Horry County from 1900-1955 at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. Join us for Wash Day on Tuesday, August 28th from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. In addition to the regular washing of clothes using a scrub board and wash pot, staff will demonstrate how pine sap could be collected and used as a fragrance for the house. A free, hour long, guided tour of the farm will be available to the public starting at 3:00 PM.
The L. W. Paul Living History Farm is open Tuesday-Saturday 9 AM-4 PM and teaches the history of the Horry County farm family from 1900-1955. The farm is free and open to the public and is located at the corner of Hwy. 701 North and Harris Short Cut Road in Conway, SC. For more information, call the L. W.
