Those who like to play the bag-tossing game cornhole are encouraged to compete in the first-ever Cornament to support Substitutes For Santa, an annual charity event that will ensure 120 local children have gifts under the tree this Christmas.
Hosted by Grand Strand Young Professionals (GSYP) and sponsored by David Aylor Law Offices, the cornhole tournament will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Local On The Water in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Registration is now open for the tournament field, which is limited to 24 teams of two. The cost to participate is $50 per team, which includes food and beverages. Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams with an additional recognition given to the best dressed team. Tournament spectators can purchase tickets for $20 each that also includes food and beverage. All proceeds benefit Substitutes For Santa.
