Celebrate the Horry County Museum and our local history! This special event day is free to the public and will feature various activities, demonstrations and information stations from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM on October 26th. Join us at 9:30 am for a Children’s Costume Contest: Historic People from Horry County and at 10 am we will have ghost stories in the Auditorium. There will also be a Quilts of Valor presentation at 1 pm and be sure to visit the Agriculture & Industry gallery for a special tobacco grading and tying demonstration by the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. Hands-on children’s activities and information tables from local institutions will be set up throughout the day for visitors to learn about some of the great history and resources our area has to offer.
