21st Century Moon is a free event presented by "A Unvierse of Stories," Chapin Library's adult summer reading program.
Special guest speaker Ian Hewitt astronomer and NASA Solar System Ambassador Volunteer June 21st @ 4 pm. Adults 15+.
The moon is our closest celestial neighbor and the focus of much scientific interest and many new explorations.Ian Hewitt shares his knowledge about US and international plans for future missions to the moon, and what scientist hope to discover.
Mr. Hewitt will also give photography tips on how to capture the best photos of the moon. Use this information to enter our Moon Photo Contest by sending in your photo of the moon in any phase to photocontest@chapinolibrary.org. Winners will be chosen at the end of July by a special panel of judges.
