Southwest Airlines Announces New Destinations from Myrtle Beach International Airport

Myrtle Beach, SC, March 25, 2021 – Daily, year-round service will arrive in time for summer vacations this year on Southwest Airlines. Today, the airline announced ten (10) new nonstop destinations from the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR).

Beginning May 23, 2021, passengers will be able to travel to: Baltimore, MD (BWI), Chicago, IL (MDW), and Nashville, TN (BNA); and additional nonstop service to Dallas, TX (DAL) and Pittsburgh, PA (PIT) will begin May 29. Service to five (5) additional destinations will launch on June 6, 2021, which include: Atlanta, GA (ATL), Columbus, OH (CMH), Indianapolis, IN (IND), Kansas City, MO (MCI), and St. Louis, MO (STL). In addition to their nonstop offerings, Myrtle Beach is accessible on Southwest Airlines this summer from 50+ cities through same-plane and connecting itineraries.

The frequency of new air service is as follows:

Atlanta, GA (ATL), 1x Daily
Nashville, TN (BNA), 2x Daily
Baltimore, MD (BWI), 3x Daily
Chicago, IL (MDW), 2x Daily
Columbus, OH (CMH), 5x Weekly
Indianapolis, IN (IND), 5x Weekly
Pittsburgh, PA (PIT), 5x Weekly
Dallas, TX (DAL), 2x Weekly
Kansas City, MO (MCI), 2x Weekly
St. Louis, MO (STL), 2x Weekly

The addition of Southwest means that MYR will now have 9 airlines. MYR is currently served by Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, Porter, Sun Country, Spirit, and United.
