A Southern Times Square – New Year’s Eve Celebration

The Market Common proudly hosts this exciting family-friendly annual event! Beginning at 9 p.m. they’ll host a beer and wine garden, live music, food vendors, fun activities for your kids, a laser show, and lots more. Get ready for the official New Year’s Eve countdown and our very own ball drop at A Southern Times Square followed by a new laser show. Grab your tickets at the Management Office from December 27-31 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or during the day of the event on Howard Avenue from 6 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. A receipt of a $25 purchase or more from a vendor of The Market Common is required to get a ticket.

LuLu’s Noon Year’s Eve

4954 Hwy. 17 S., North Myrtle Beach, SC

This Barefoot Landing favorite is hosting a kid-friendly Noon Year’s Eve Party beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022. Gear up for lots of family activities, a ball drop at noon, a sandcastle contest, face painting, and more.

Ring in the New Year Party – Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville

The Paul Grimshaw Band will play at this year’s New Year’s Eve Party at Margaritaville beginning at 9 p.m. Stilt Walkers, party favors, and a margarita shooter at midnight are all included with the event. Admission is $10/person ages 13 and up or show your purchase of retail apparel. 

New Year’s Eve Extravaganza at Comedy Cabana

9588 N. Kings Hwy., Myrtle Beach, SC

Each New Year’s Eve Comedy Cabana in Myrtle Beach has a hilarious lineup ready to help you laugh into the next year. This year’s comics include Drew Thomas, Cyrus Steele, and Vinnie Mark. Tickets include reserved seating, a photo of the comic, party favors, and a gift certificate for another show. Showtimes are at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. December 31, 2022. The 10 p.m. show includes a champagne toast.

Hard Rock Café New Year’s Bash

Hard Rock Café will host its annual New Year’s Bash where everyone is a VIP! The party begins at 7 p.m. December 31, 2022 with live music from Diversity. Tickets are $200/person or $350/couple and include a four-course meal, specialty drinks and a bottle of Prosecco per couple. The menu includes options like Grilled Filet Mignon, Grilled Blackened Swordfish, and Stuffed Chicken Marsala. Tables are assigned prior to your arrival but the option to switch to sit with family or friends will be available if proper social distancing permits.

Holidays at the Hammock – New Year’s Eve Party

4924 Hwy. 17 S., North Myrtle Beach, SC

Crooked Hammock Brewery in North Myrtle Beach is sending off 2022 with a “beer-y” fun New Year’s Eve Party. The party starts at 8 p.m. December 31 and is $110/person or $50 for designated drivers. The party includes an open bar with tasty house-made brews, wine and spirits, a buffet, live music, a surprise Crowler to-go, and much more. Stick around to watch the Keg Drop at midnight while snow falls to the ground!

RipTydz – New Year’s Eve Bash

1210 N. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC

Join RipTydz for a New Year’s Eve Bash as you watch the waves crash to shore from its oceanfront rooftop bar. They’re hosting an open bar for $75/person or a buffet combo for $130/person with live music on the roof and DJ Johnny on the oceanfront patio. The fun starts at 8 p.m. and includes firebreathers and dancers, a photo booth, caricature artists and so much more. Walk ins are welcome but it’s strongly encouraged to buy tickets in advance.

Noon Year’s Day Party – Ripley’s Aquarium

1110 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC

Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach is making the New Year something to “Shell-ebrate” during their Noon Year’s Day Party held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2023. Tickets include arts and crafts, admission to the aquarium, and an exciting mermaid show. Tickets are $36.99/adult; $24.99/child ages 6 to 11 and $12.99/child ages 3 to 5.  

A New Year’s Eve Celebration: Strauss on the Strand Gala

3810 Robert M Grissom Pkwy

Join The Long Bay Symphony for a black-tie optional night of dinner, dancing, and drinks. Tickets include a three-course plated dinner, entertainment by Strauss on the Strand, dancing, and more live music. Tickets are $150-$200. Doors open at 7 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 and the fun will be held in the Palisades Ballroom at Kingston Plantation. If you can’t attend the gala, Strauss on the Strand will perform at 2:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church Saturday, December 31. Tickets are $30/person.

Ring in 2023 Disco-Style at Local Eat, Drink, Celebrate

Local Eat, Drink, Celebrate at The Hammock Shops Village of Pawleys Island is hosting a Studio 54-style New Year’s Eve Party to benefit The Outreach Farm. They’ll have heavy hors d’ouevres, live music from Paperwork, and an open bar. The party starts at 8 p.m. and goes to 1 a.m. Tickets are $125/person.

Local Bar + Kitchen On the Water New Year’s Eve

Join Local On the Water for a New Year’s Eve party with live music from Cat 5 Band and a DJ from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. General Admission tickets get you in the door while Bar Packages include a 10-drink package. Tickets are $15-$50.

3001 Nightlife New Year’s Eve

The fun begins at 7 p.m. this New Year’s Eve at 3001 Nightlife in Myrtle Beach with entertainment in three separate spaces from the Tim Clark Band, Tim Elliott and Painted Man. Enjoy a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $30 in advance or $45 at the door.

New Year’s Eve – Hollywood Beach Red Carpet

Join Tin Roof Myrtle Beach for one of the biggest New Year’s Eve parties in Myrtle Beach. Dress to impress and ring in 2023 in style with a complimentary champagne toast, confetti cannons, live music from The Great Reset and DJ Image, and plenty of fun throughout all of their bars. They have VIP tables and lounges available for reservations.

Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant New Year’s Eve Party

Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant and Bar will host a New Year’s Eve bash with a belly dance show, live music with DJ Gary and Liz Callaway, a special dinner menu, and a champagne toast at midnight. The party starts at 7 p.m. Call for reservations.

Fireworks

Catch a dazzling fireworks show this New Year’s Eve at two different locations: 7 p.m. at Barefoot Landing and 8 p.m. at Broadway at the Beach.

Where to Eat

Many of our local Myrtle Beach restaurants amp up their cuisine to celebrate the New Year and offer special menus. Call ahead for reservations! Prices may not include taxes or gratuity.  

21 Main Prime Steakhouse

719 North Beach Blvd., North Myrtle Beach, SC

21 Main at North Beach Plantation is offering a four-course New Year’s Eve special for $150/person. Options include Newski’s Oven Roasted Bacon, Colossal Baked Shrimp, Filet Mignon, NY Strip, and more. Tables reserved after 8 p.m. will have them for the rest of the evening.

A separate event will be held in the Ballroom with a “Peace, Love, and Happy New Year” theme. They’ll serve award-winning hors d’oeuvres, surf and turf, a premium bar, a champagne toast, and breakfast to-go. Live music will be provided by The Special Blend Experience and the event will be held from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The cost is $175/person.
