Myrtle Beach’s popular ‘Hot Summer Nights’ event returns to Plyler Park on Monday, June 11, 2018. Through September 3, visitors will be able to catch different live entertainment acts and family-friendly activities every single night of the week. Aside from having oceanfront evening entertainment all summer long, our favorite thing about Hot Summer Nights is that it’s free to attend! From the costumed princesses and balloon artists to stilt-walkers and live bands, there is bound to be something for every member of the family to enjoy. Here’s a look at what you can expect to see throughout the week:
Monday - DJ Night! Plenty of line dancing, games and door prizes for those who attend.
Tuesday - Live music begins at 8 p.m. on stage at Plyler Park.
Wednesday - Live music begins at 8 p.m. on stage at Plyler Park. Also, a weekly fireworks show will be on display from 10 to 10:15 p.m. every Wednesday!
Thursday - DJ Night! Plenty of line dancing, games and door prizes for those who attend.
Friday - Karaoke night. Take to the stage in style with two backup singers, smoke and lights.
Saturday - Live music begins at 8 p.m. on stage at Plyler Park.
Sunday - Family game show night. How well do you know your family, fiance, spouse or best friend? Sunday night attendees can expect plenty of surprises and lots of laughs.
Just a note: We find bringing along our beach chairs makes Hot Summer Nights even more enjoyable as we can ensure we have a comfortable seat to listen to the music. Some performers scheduled to appear this summer include: If Birds Could Fly, Paul Grimshaw, Painted Man, N'trance, and the Jebb Mac Band. If you’re interested in learning more about the performance schedule, be sure to check out Hot Summer Nights on Facebook or visit MyrtleBeachDowntown.com.
