Happy National Donut Day! In this edition of Myrtle Beach Bites, we are on the hunt for the best donut shops in the Grand Strand. Whether you spell it “donut” or “doughnut”, there’s no denying that this sweet treat is a fan favorite, especially on vacation. Here is a list of some of the best local donut shops:

The Donut Man – Open 24/7 with a drive thru, The Donut Man is close to the beach and the Boardwalk and offers 15 different donut flavors to choose from.

Peace, Love, Little Donuts – This donut shop in Market Common is known for their “funkadelic”, “far out” and “groovy” flavor options on their signature donuts shaped smaller than normal.

Duck Donuts – Duck Donuts is famous for their made-to-order donuts with dozens of flavor combinations and now has two locations in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.

Parlor Doughnuts – Recently opened this year in Pawleys Island, Parlor Doughnuts is famous for their layered doughnuts, like a croissant, as well as gluten-free, vegan, and even dog doughnuts.

The Trestle Bakery – Nestled in the heart of downtown Conway, The Trestle is a local favorite offering classic and specialty donuts, along with other delicious homemade pastries.

Also, Krispy Crème and Dunkin Donuts often offer specials and coupons to celebrate National Donut Day, which is a great way to get a free donut for you and your family.
