Runner's Guide to Myrtle Beach

  By  Visit Myrtle Beach
Runners on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade

In the Myrtle Beach area, we are fast becoming known as a "Runner's Paradise" with our 60 miles of pristine white sandy beach, endless parks, and roadways for those who love to run. Make the perfect runner's day for you and yours right here with our many options for safe and fun running.

Your first option is naturally to run the beach near your great accommodations. The beach runs from North Myrtle Beach all the way to Pawleys Island. Enjoy the endless sun and get a bold tan for a perfect-bodied you. Along our long coastline, in virtually every one of the townships that run from North Myrtle Beach to the Garden City Beach area, one can easily enjoy running along Ocean Drive, just adjacent to the beach. Running on Ocean Drive is grand fun as you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean beside you.
