Today for Foodie Friday, Z’s brings you the makings of its blue cheese and balsamic steak salad: a massive bowl of deliciousness. Enjoy!
Blue Cheese and Balsamic Steak salad
Marinated skirt steak
Salt, pepper, to taste
Spring salad mix
Red bell pepper, chopped
Slaw vegetables, chopped
2-3 T Chunky Blue Cheese dressing
Blue Cheese crumbles (as desired)
Balsamic glaze (garnish)
Seasoned wontons (as desired)
Season and grill steak to your desired temperature. Let it rest for 5-8 minutes before slicing.
While the steak is resting, combine the spring mix, tomatoes, cucumbers, red bell peppers and slaw vegetables into a large mixing bowl. Toss with 2-3 tablespoons of Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing until evenly coated. Add blue cheese crumbles, as desired. Slice steak into ¼ slices and place on top of salad. Garnish with Balsamic glaze and homemade crispy, seasoned Wontons.
