It's almost mid-February, which means it's time to let that special someone know just how you feel.
Yes, Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and visions of chocolate, roses and small candy hearts with words like "Be Mine" are dancing in our heads.

Fabulous resorts offering holiday-themed amenities like champagne and delectable chocolates? Check. Sixty miles of beautiful, sandy beaches for taking a nighttime stroll? Check.
As Feb. 14 inches ever closer, we've also got a plethora of specials that are sure to make that most romantic truly live up to the hype.

Aspen Grille will have a Valentine's Day four-course menu on Friday, Feb. 14. The cost is $90 per couple, excluding tax and gratuity. The menu includes a jumbo lump crab cake with roasted red pepper basil cream and a choice of starters, entrée and dessert. The regular a la carte menu will also be available.
Couples will enjoy their choice of tea or soda, soup or salad; a choice of ribeye steak or Caribbean jerk salmon per person and a dessert to split. All of this is $50 per couple.
Guests can choose one appetizer of their choice and two entrees for $29.99. The meal also comes with two glasses of champagne.
Hard Rock will be offering a pre-set three-course dinner on Valentine's Day for $27 per person. That includes a salad, a choice of an entrée from five options, chocolate mousse, soft drinks and iced tea. Guests will also receive complimentary Hershey kisses. There is also a chance to win a piece of jewelry valued at $1,000, courtesy of Dick's Pawn Shop. Show your Hard Rock receipt dated Feb. 14 at Broadway Cinema 16 and receive two theater tickets for $10.50.
Come out for the Single Mingle Party in Crossroads at the House of Blues. Happy Hour starts at 4 p.m., free speed dating in the Carolina Room begins at 5:30 p.m., live music from the Dustin Martin Band kicks off at 9 p.m., as well as Chase Rice in concert in the concert hall.
Valentine's Day features are from Feb. 14 through Feb. 16, 2014. The creole mahi and golden fried shrimp are $22.99; the steak and shrimp scampi is available at $30.99; and the crab-stuffed lobster tail is $39.99.
Medieval Times Valentine's Day couples package includes: two admissions to the show and tournament; a double-sided frame with a photo; a commemorative Valentine's Day scroll; two champagne glasses with a split of champagne; two knight's cheering flags; a sweetheart light-up rose; a cheering wand; and two admissions to the dungeon. The package will be available for all shows through Feb. 17, 2014 for $99 per couple.
Enjoy dinner and a movie at the ballpark. The romance package includes a steak dinner from Angelo's Steak and Pasta served at the ballpark (date TBD). A movie immediately follows dinner on our video board. The package also includes four field box tickets to a 2014 Pelicans game and two first pitch opportunities. The price is $175.
Enjoy a 10-ounce New York Strip with a 4-ounce lobster tail dinner special from 4 p.m. to close. The price is $29.95. Drink specials are available.
