Myrtle Beach’s Annual Beach, Boogie and BBQ Festival draws a crowd every year as over 25 barbeque teams compete to take home over $8,600 in cash and prizes. The mouth watering event is an Official BBQ Championship of South Carolina and sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society, and competitors take their craft seriously. One of the best aspects of this Labor Day weekend event is that admission and parking are both free to attendees. Here’s a look at one festival attendees can expect:

All Beach, Boogie and BBQ events will take place at the Horry-Georgetown Technical College Conference Center near Market Common in Myrtle Beach at 950 Crabtree Lane. The festival is easy to access, fun to explore and something the entire family can easily attend. In addition to barbecue samples, barbecue sandwiches and a variety of food are generally available for purchase.
