Take time this weekend to reflect on the past while enjoying the natural beauty and wonder of Brookgreen Gardens . In observance of Black History Month, Ron and Natalie Daise will present dramatic readings from "God's Trombones: Seven Negro Poems in Verse" by James Weldon Johnson. Do you count yourself a fan of reality programs like Dancing With The Stars? If that answer is definite "yes," than why not see some top-notch dancing in person? The National Shag Dance Championship returns to the Myrtle Beach area with the preliminary round. Now in its' 32nd year, competitors will dance the night away on Jan. 30 and Jan. 31, 2015 at North Myrtle Beach's Spanish Galleon, located at 100 N.
