Myrtle Beach has always been about a rollicking good time with cold drinks, good food and music in the air! Back in the 80s and early 90s the Myrtle Beach area music scene experienced a surge in the music scene as it filled with music halls and venues with nearly every type of music and national artists and it continues to thrive and grow!
Now, with our area growing in population each year the musical trend is a stream of exciting and growing diversity in choice of music. You know a place is growing when there is more fantastic choices for great music. Like the great one’s here that kept the music going, even more wise music and event promotors are currently coming in and making things happen based on the viability and demand of the area. A couple of years ago the success of the Carolina Country Music Festival proved this viability as their first show was a resounding stellar success, proving that Myrtle Beach is ready for a huge expansion of its music scene. With all types of people moving into our area---and the continued incredible growth of our tourism, like any metro area there has to be choice for the soundtrack of our lives. Take a good look at the exciting expansion happening again in music for this summer in beautiful Myrtle Beach!
