Visit Tucson Makes Good on Baseball Wager
Will Host Visit Myrtle Beach for Lunch at Horry Georgetown Technical College
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Brent DeRaad, president and CEO of Visit Tucson, tourism destination promoter for southern Arizona including Tucson, home to the University of Arizona, today makes good on the friendly destination versus destination wager on the result of the 2016 College World Series (CWS) Finals.
Executive Chef Ryan, recently appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Casino del Sol’s flagship restaurant, the award winning PY Steakhouse, will prepare a meal for Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, and his Visit Myrtle Beach team at the Grand Strand Campus of Horry Georgetown Technical College, 950 Crabtree Lane. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m.
As promised, the losing organization will make a $1,000 donation to the winning region’s Boys & Girls Club to promote youth sports in their community.
