opportunity to save money on travel.  Our ultra low fares and optional add-ons provide customers a total price that's tough to beat."

"We are delighted with Spirit Airlines' business decision to broaden its route network at Myrtle Beach International Airport.  The addition of nonstop air service to both the Philadelphia and Baltimore-Washington areas while significantly increasing seat capacity to its existing markets should be well received by the traveling public," said Michael La Pier, Director of Airports,
Myrtle Beach International Airport.

"The availability of affordable transportation into the Myrtle Beach area is crucial to building our tourism economy and greatly enhances our ability to market in challenging economic times," said Brad Dean, President and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB. "We're very pleased to see Spirit Airlines expand nonstop air service and increase overall capacity to Myrtle Beach International Airport while continuing to provide our visitors and residents with low fare options."

"Spirit Airlines' addition of new flights, earlier resumption of seasonal service, and more capacity out of existing markets is a home run for us," said Bill Golden, president of Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. "Adding daily, nonstop service from Baltimore-Washington and Philadelphia, two primary feeder markets, will be a boon for the golf community. We are always working to increase our percentage of the golf market share, and nonstop flight service is vital to those efforts."

"We are excited about Spirit Airlines arriving in Philadelphia, and we are pleased that travelers in our region will have Spirit as a travel option to one of the best vacation and golf destinations in the country," said Philadelphia Airport CEO Mark Gale. "This new service will stimulate our regional economy, and I thank Spirit for realizing the value of doing business with our City."

"We welcome this service to Myrtle Beach, a popular leisure destination and a new nonstop market for us," said Paul J. Wiedefeld, Executive Director of BWI Marshall.  "Spirit's growth at BWI Marshall means more travel options and more low airfares for our customers."
