MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has just released “Holidays At The Beach,” a free, 48-page Holiday Guide featuring detailed insight for enjoying the Myrtle Beach area from mid-November to the New Year.
“With sparkling lights and holiday spirit galore, your friends and family will make jolly memories to last a lifetime. There is an abundance of shopping, shows and restaurants across the Grand Strand that will help you check everything off your list. Here at The Beach, we swap the snow for sand and icicles for seashells — and we couldn’t be merrier about it,” the Holiday Guide states.
Inside the brochure-styled guide, residents and visitors will find details on holiday shows and theaters; the new Winter Wonderland at The Beach festival; holiday shopping opportunities; holiday happenings and events; sports events like the Myrtle Beach Invitational and Myrtle Beach Bowl; special dining options for Thanksgiving; and New Year’s Eve Celebrations.
“The Myrtle Beach area is a premier destination for enjoying the holidays. Just this week, Travel + Leisure magazine named Myrtle Beach one of its ‘25 Festive Christmas Towns to Visit for the Holidays.’ Our Holiday Guide allows us to showcase many of the seasonal activities the area offers, including the new Winter Wonderland at The Beach festival and more,” said Karen Riordan, MBACC and CVB President and CEO.
Free copies of the Holiday Guide are now available at the chamber’s Visitor Center at 1200 North Oak Street in Myrtle Beach and within the Myrtle Beach International Airport. Information from the guidebook can also be found online at VisitMyrtleBeach.com.
Officials with the CVB are also distributing the guide to travel brochure racks at key locations within the region.
